Nerdy Rabbit: October 2011
http://nerdyrabbit.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
October 3, 2011. Salmon (or any fish) Spread. I know you've all probably had a simply tuna fish sandwich- some canned tuna slapped together with mayo and squished between two pieces of bread. My boyfriend ended up with a surplus of canned Salmon and I thought, well, why not try to make something like tuna fish? He went all adorably wide eyed, because how do you make salmon spread fancy without taking a lot of time? It's Chinese Boyfriend Approved. 2 cans of Salmon (or tuna, or whatever). 3) Add mustard, ...

Nerdy Rabbit: January 2011
http://nerdyrabbit.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
January 24, 2011. When dependability is no longer dependable. Until today, anyway. Today, Kilt Guy wore jeans. And the world mourned. Well, not for me, personally, as kilts just aren't my thing. Every day I would think to myself, "Geez, Kilt Guy, ever thought of jeans? Day after day, week after week, month after month, always the same thought as Kilt Guy wandered about the building unawares of my private war with his garments.and then, low and behold, my mental waring paid off! WTF, KILT GUY? Like it's t...

Nerdy Rabbit: December 2009
http://nerdyrabbit.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
December 28, 2009. The reunion that came five years early. This past summer my friend that I regularly went out to happy hour with moved to a different state for grad school. Seeing as how we both went to the same high school, naturally we were both in our hometown for Christmas and decided to pick up where we left off by going out for drinks, food, and desert. Nerdy Rabbit: February 2011
http://nerdyrabbit.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
February 12, 2011. I probably shouldnt say this, but I work in Pioneer Square. I have a feeling that theres perhaps a few things in my blog (and maybe in the future) that could be.compromising, but whatever, I want to talk about food. Admittingly, I eat at work 90% of the time because they give me free food. Who can pass up free food? Links to this post. Labels: om nom nom. February 5, 2011. New heights in Classy. Nerdy Rabbit: The world is being Sucker Punch(ed).
http://nerdyrabbit.blogspot.com/2011/04/world-is-being-sucker-punched.html
April 1, 2011. The world is being Sucker Punch(ed). The more I read reviews about Sucker Punch. The more I realize that these people clearly are not the demographic the movie is intended for. They complain about too much CGI, too many fight scenes, why doesn't it have more plot, why is it a bunch of girls, why doesn't it obey the physics of reality, and how dare it be such a flashy action movie. It's like The Expendables. The three realities are not confusing. They're pretty straight forward. I f...If yo...

It's not bad, but is it art?: Abstraction in Modern Art
http://itsnotbadbutisitart.blogspot.com/2010/04/abstraction-in-modern-art.html
It's not bad, but is it art? Friday, April 30, 2010. Abstraction in Modern Art. I consider myself lucky that my primary introduction to Modernism was through literature because, for one, literature is easy to understand because it normally has to be comprehensible for anyone to read it, and two, most of us have a fairly good understanding about what has happened in literature in the past as it's being rehashed and re-imaged by Hollywood. Let's look at The Princess Bride. For example. The film version.

It's not bad, but is it art?: Credentials
http://itsnotbadbutisitart.blogspot.com/2010/04/credentials.html
It's not bad, but is it art? Sunday, April 25, 2010. Before I get into this, let me just go ahead and be completely honest:. I DO NOT CLAIM TO BE AN EXPERT ON MODERNISM. I graduated from the University of Washington. In 2009 with a Bachelor's of Arts in English (Literature and Language). My undeclared focus was on gender and identity (mostly because I tried to included in every paper I wrote, but never went out of my way to declare it as such). Previously I studied at Wenatchee Valley College. Aside from...

It's not bad, but is it art?: June 2010
http://itsnotbadbutisitart.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
It's not bad, but is it art? Thursday, June 10, 2010. Long time, no new content! I have an entry about the figure almost ready to go, but I wanted to share that there's a new reality show dealing with art called Work of Art. Again, yes, it's reality show, and a competition one as well, but so far that has been some really interesting, progressive, and modern art being produced. One of my favorite blogs, Tom and Lorenzo. Has already started recapping the episodes. Links to this post.
