Saturday, June 22, 2013. The Island is on vaca! I meant to post this yesterday and didn't get a chance! I've let all the finalists know already but we are postponing the finals until next weekend! All projects are due to me by Friday June 28 at midnight! My daughter's softball team made it to the tournaments and have won 2 games and lost one. First up, I used Graphic 45's A Perfect Gentleman to create this card. The stamped image is from Tim Holtz and I embossed it with clear embossing powder to really make it pop. I distressed everything with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I inked all of the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink and the "Happy Birthday" is from Hero Arts.

Thursday, October 17, 2013. Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I just wanted to share a quick card I created using the gorgeous Close to My Heart Huntington. I stamped the "Friend" onto a piece of canvas scrap from my stash with Chocolate Ink. And then frayed the edges. Then I cut my Huntington papers to the sizes I wanted. I inked all of the edges in Chocolate Ink. Then I fussy cut a flower from the paper pattern with my CTMH Micro Tip Scissors. And then added a few gold nrads for some extra dimension.
