StitchPrincess: September 2011
http://stitchprincess.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 22, 2011. Six more aprons . . . yes, six. It looks like I've been pretty busy this week, with all these aprons! Though, each apron takes about an hour from cutting to final sewing, so it's not as impressive as it looks. lol. These six aprons (and the first from a few days ago. Were cut on Sunday and ironed/sewn throughout the week. Ivory w/ turquoise, brown, and yellow flowers. This is my favorite! So many cotton fabrics! Have an idea for an apron fabric? Even more aprons coming soon!

Tuesday, April 19, 2011. I have decided that seamstresses should not spend extended periods of time in school. As in, 16 years is waaaaay too much! I am so glad to be finishing college a year early (this July! But I wish I could stop right now. All I want to do is sew, not write papers . . . Where did this spring fever come from? Well, I haven't sewn much over the past few years- not as much as I would have liked. The summer of '09, I spent lots of time sewing, and it was wonderful! Just when I think I c...

StitchPrincess: March 2012
http://stitchprincess.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 30, 2012. I have recently fallen in love with the tv show Fashion Star. On the show, a number up-and-coming designers create designs every week. Their models show off the clothing on the runway, then 3 department store executives (from Macy's, Saks 5th Avenue, and H&M) bid on their designs. Only one department store can purchase each design, if they desire, so the bidding can get pretty high sometimes. Since then, I have designed dresses, but I haven't made many. And I miss it so much!

Thursday, July 21, 2011. A Homemade Wedding Spectacular! Since I began sewing at the age of four, I have wanted to sew a wedding dress- most importantly, MY wedding dress. After a whirlwind romance in December and January, the love of my life proposed to me on Valentine's Day 2011! We planned on an August 10th wedding. I had six months to make my wedding dress, three bridesmaid's dresses, four men's vests, and four bow ties- I had plenty of time. Cutting out the muslin test dress. Fabric and the perfect.
