Seven Hills Crafts Blog: January 2017
http://sevenhillscrafts.blogspot.com/2017_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 31 January 2017. Hello and thanks for joining me. My card today is inspired by selective colour photos, where one part of the image stays in colour whilst the rest is black and white. On a white card base, I stamped the flower and leaf outlines from the WPlus9 Pretty Peonies set. I left gaps around each image as, without colour, they need some separation to stand out. On the largest peony, I stamped the other layers in colour, using some Altenew inks. Have a lovely day,. Monday, 30 January 2017.

http://sevenhillscrafts.blogspot.com/2017/01/musical-birthday.html
Tuesday, 10 January 2017. Hello and thanks for joining me. Today I have a musical card to share with you. On a piece of white card, I used the MFT Stitched Strip die-namic. To create a musical staff for the notes to sit upon. I chose the 'Happy Birthday To You' sentiment from the Altenew Birthday Greetings stamp set. Adding it above the stitched lines on the card. Saturday, 7 January 2017. Hi stampers, Anni. Here with my very first post as a member of the DT for Seven Hills Crafts. Still can't believe how lucky I am to be a part of this super talented group! And so happy and proud to design for my favorite online shop. I am fairly new to the ZIG Clean Color Real Brush. Pen party - you may not believe it. When they arrived at my house of course I had to use them. And what is better for watercolouring than flowers? Hope you like my first card! 7 January 2017 at 10:29.

Seven Hills Crafts Blog: October 2016
http://sevenhillscrafts.blogspot.com/2016_10_01_archive.html
Monday, 31 October 2016. It was quite hard to judge this month's entries as a lot of them didn't follow the tone-on-tone theme of the challenge we set, so despite having some fabulous entries, many had colour schemes we didn't recognise. We still had some fabulous entries to choose from though and our winner this month followed the theme to perfection with her teal floral and bold sentiment. Congrats Sabine! Drop me a line and I'll fix you up with your prize voucher. Our runners up this month were. I the...

Seven Hills Crafts Blog: Greenery - Pantone Colour of the Year
http://sevenhillscrafts.blogspot.com/2017/01/greenery-pantone-colour-of-year.html
Tuesday, 3 January 2017. Greenery - Pantone Colour of the Year. Hello, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year. Today I have a card based on the 2017 Pantone colour of the year, which is Greenery. It's a lovely fresh yellow-green, and is a calming, reinvigorating colour for the new year. What better set to use for my card than the MFT Leafy Greenery. To create the leaves, on watercolour paper I blended Zig Clean Colour Real Brush pens. With some green inks to add paint splatter detail. 3 Janua...

Seven Hills Crafts Blog: A Splash of Pink
http://sevenhillscrafts.blogspot.com/2017/01/a-splash-of-pink.html
Monday, 9 January 2017. A Splash of Pink. Hello and happy Monday to you :). I'm kicking off the new week with a simple card. Like Tara, I need a New Baby card to send this week and although I'm not a huge fan of 'pink for a girl' I thought I'd add a splash to my otherwise very CAS card and keep it traditional. I've used Lawn Fawns Little Bundle. But I swapped the washing line poles for the branch in Deck the Halls. Not so overpowering in black ink :). Thanks for stopping by :). Lawn Fawn Little Bundle.
