Some lil smokies (16 if you want to get picky). Half an onion slivered. Dill pickle slivered (I thought hot dog relish would be too messy). Friday, February 14, 2014. 2 Cups self-rising cornmeal. 1 1/4 C buttermilk. 1 small onion, minced. 1 egg, beaten. 3TB horseradish sauce (optional). 1) Mince onion and combine with cornmeal in a bowl. Toss to coat. 2) Add buttermilk and beaten egg. You would add the horseradish sauce here. Stir. 3) You may need to add a bit more cornmeal to get to a good thick consistency. Sausage Hash Brown Casserole. 2 large potatoes, small dice. 1 can Grands style biscuits. 6 eggs, beaten. 1 pound breakfast sausage. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Dice the potatoes into small cubes. Using some coconut oil and a cast iron skillet, fry up the hash browns. Add a bit of salt and pepper to them as they're cooking, and some garlic powder doesn't hurt either. Remove the potatoes to a 13 X 9 casserole dish. Add so...
