Judy Hartman : November 2014
http://judyhartman.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 22, 2014. Is anyone finding, as I am, that November is slipping by very quickly? Where do the days go? I'm doing some new work, but here are a few more photos of the pieces I completed recently for an artisan show. My photos are not great - sorry! This picture is mounted on white linen and. Is made with fabric, hand embroidery, beading, trims and machine stitching. This little tree sold quickly. I used similar materials on it,. With the addition of painted green lace in the foreground.

Judy Hartman : July 2015
http://judyhartman.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2015. I finished up this drawing today, enjoying the process and not worrying about the results. I used Micron pens, extra-fine Sharpies and watercolor pencils. This reminds me of Rosie, who tries to eat flowers. Looks like she is resting in a potential salad of blossoms! Yes, I keep flowers away from her! Hope you are having a great week! Labels: Drawing with micron pens and watercolor pencils. Monday, July 20, 2015. Savor Summer - Joy List Monday. I have a confession to make:. Using r...

Sunday, May 10, 2015. A Few Words About My Mom. Today is Mothers Day and I'm thinking about my mom, who passed away in 2007. We had a really wonderful relationship and we spent a lot of time laughing together. My tears were mixed with laughter and I was devastated when she died the next day. My support, my rock and my partner in crime was gone - such a huge loss! It was amazing timing and I do believe it was a sign that my mom had indeed begun her "big adventure". Thursday, May 7, 2015. Our cats are loun...

Judy Hartman : Savor Summer - Joy List Monday
http://judyhartman.blogspot.com/2015/07/savor-summer-joy-list-monday.html
Monday, July 20, 2015. Savor Summer - Joy List Monday. I have a confession to make:. I am not a summer person. I have a friend who loves summer so much, we call her "Summer Girl". She loves the beach, being on Cape Cod, the ocean and walking in the sand. I love air conditioning and fans, being inside and emerging on a cool day,. Catching up on projects, and looking out at my tiny garden outside my porch. So, my joy list today is about INSIDE projects! It makes me smile. Love this Matisse print! I'm not b...

From Your Mind's Eye: Imagination
http://fromyourmindseye.blogspot.com/2012/07/imagination.html
From Your Mind's Eye. Tuesday, July 24, 2012. The other day, I watched a wonderful movie that reminded me of the importance of using our imaginations. It was called. The Magic of Belle Island. A crotchety old author moved to the Island to drink away the rest of his days in bitterness and disappointment His neighbors, a newly divorced mother and her three daughters changed all of that for him. His impact on their lives was powerful as well. They are stolen moments that come with much peace and joy for me&...

From Your Mind's Eye: Where did the last five years go?
http://fromyourmindseye.blogspot.com/2011/01/where-did-last-five-years-go.html
From Your Mind's Eye. Monday, January 24, 2011. Where did the last five years go? Sometimes your heart just fills with love from the simplest of things. A father changes the number 5 on the birthday board he made his daughter when she was 1, to a 6. Where did the past 5 years go, he asks? Lamenting the rapid passage of time and his little girls growth. She watches in wonder as the 5 disappears and the 6 takes it's place on the board for another year. What color should it be, her Daddys asks? Subscribe to...
