Tuesday, October 16, 2012. I'm feeling guilty about keeping up here with our "baby book." This is a very brief rewind of our summer. We spent a weekend or two at Beaver Lake with friends. Rowan did much better this year swimming (with a life jacket) and Ryder, well, she still prefers the bathtub. We traveled to Kansas City to see Phish. They had fun and then passed out in the stroller, just as planned. Yeah, so maybe we walked 3 miles during set break but we were rewarded with a relaxing second set.

Wednesday, March 28, 2012. The staff at Rowan's school refer to his class as The Great Eight. They are the youngest kids there and, well, you know, great. Here is his class photo. And this is his photo. He's lucky he is so adorable because I'm about to pack his bags if he asks "Why? Tuesday, March 27, 2012. My backyard chicken dream is coming true. Tuesday, August 30, 2011. I must let you know that Rowan has 3 swimsuits but it seems that he prefers something a little more European;). Eating Raisins With Pliers. I'm not sure where Rowan comes up with some of his stunts. This one was superb. He sat on top of the table with a box of raisins and a pair of pliers. Skillfully retrieved them out of the box, one by one, with pliers. And then ate them. Ryder is proud to announce her 3 month accomplishments. Hold on to your seats people. I found my feet.

Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Ryder Mae was 14lbs 13oz and 23.5 inches long at her two month check up. She is the happiest baby and gives smiles as often as you'd like. She has started "talking" to me today and I caught a little on video. Never mind the hiccups in the video, she has been plagued with them since birth. Yeah, I know, so exciting!
