May 27, 2013. I’ve been away for a long time. It sort of had to happen, because I felt like I’d run out of things to say. I also felt pressure to post things, and pressure isn’t really what I want to drive my blog posts. That’s just no fun. It was a great day. As for my life right now – we are moving this week. Staying in Calgary, but moving into some new digs. It’s all crazy and we have to be completely out of our current place by noon on Friday. Wish me luck? June 7, 2013 at 3:29 pm.

June 17, 2013. 1 Here is our new place:. Ours is the 2-car garage one. We share one wall with our neighbours. We have a balcony and a little patio/yard area in the back. It still sometimes feels like a hotel because the master bedroom is sooo nice and it has an ensuite bathroom. I’ve never lived like this before. Also, it has a dishwasher, which I’m pretty sure it a life/marriage saver. We are happy. Her wedding is 12 days away and I am so excited! 90s singer famous for Show Me Love? I’ll go with it.

So, yesterday was quite the "adventure" in the blog world - with some major things going wrong with the Retreat House blog and I have had to do some deleting and remaking of blogs. Somehow in all of that mess, I can now no longer add new pictures to my blog - so I am moving it to a new link. My new blog will be exactly like this one - just with a different address. Honesty insight and iced coffee. August 22, 2013. And then she was 9. Months - nine months! Today is a beautiful summer day and right now my sweet girl is fast asleep for her afternoon nap. There are toys everywhere - little signs of where she was playing, walking (assisted walking), eating. I love these quiet times that I get to myself when she is sleeping, but whenever I get Matilda up from a nap I say to her, "I missed you! And it is true! I love my life with my family of 3. And the answer is YES!

A long overdue update. September 6, 2013. This summer was a pretty big deal. A lot of awesome stuff happened to some pretty fabulous people. To start with, my sister got married.
