Our journey with alpacas began when Martha knit several items with alpaca fiber and fell in love with the feel of alpaca and the final product it produced. After two years of visiting numerous alpaca farms throughout New England, we started our herd in 2009 with the purchase of three males - Tony, Tanner, and Avalanche - from Chuck and Chris LaLiberte of Rutland, MA. Her findings will inform us about who has the best fiber, what grades make up the fiber, and what is the best use of the fiber.

Breeding Silkie and Serama Chickens,. Paradise is the perfect name for our farm located here in North Texas, PARADISE Texas. My husband and I both grew up city kids having country roots. We started out spending our week ends absorbing the peacefulness of the country life. Week ends became summers and finally we both retired and are living PARADISE full time. John Boy is the foreman along with Bren girl being top hand!
