Disability Information Otago: Is our Health System FAIR?
http://disotago.blogspot.com/2008/02/is-our-health-system-fair.html
Tuesday, February 5, 2008. Is our Health System FAIR? New Zealanders with illnesses recieve significantly less funding than those covered by ACC. Equity-for-illness believes these inequities amount to discrimination. We aim to see Ministry of Health eligibility criteria brought into line with current ACC entitlements: creating a needs-focused, non-discriminatory health delivery regardless of the cause.
