Camping on the shore of Slocan Lake. Anytime you get here. Shuttle Van to Launch or self-drive depending on numbers. Friday, March 30, 2012. Were across to WA.yahooo. At times had to get low as the upper winds increaded and it got real bumpy up high that is over 1000ft , so surfing along at around 200 ft full bar and keeping the wing over me at th same time. Entering WA was a treat . an accoplishment were here! As I passed the road house I noticed a large building and saw it was for fruit quarantine! Monday, April 2, 2012. Coolgardie to Merriden 280 km. Coolgardie, Saturday the 31st , up at dark set up ready for legal light winds were supposed to be freshening! Monday, June 29, 2015. We ended up paragliding at four different sites around BC - the two near Vernon. Mt MacKenzie at Revelstoke (thanks to Brad at Revelstoke Paragliding. And Mt. 7 at Golden (thanks to Scott at Altitude Adventures. The launch at Revelstoke is from the top of the ski hill. Which has the highest vertical in North America - 1,713m (5,620 ft). Sunday, January 16, 2011. Riding in the new year! Life is short and you have to reach out and take it all in! Dreams should become reality . After leaving herbert's who was also a great host , I headed north along the coast toward Punte del diablo a cool little very busy tourist beach , unfortunatly everthing was booked solid , I would have liked to spend a few days on the beach . I headed to Chuy border crossing and made the crossing at about 3pm and rode for another 3-4 hrs north to Rio grande . Anyway...
