After a playful conversation about Iowa City and all of its glory, a few of us raised our beer glasses to the idea of creating a list with our top five picks in Iowa City. Most ideas need time to cool. Posted August 24, 2010. As I hurried through my morning routine yesterday, it was nice to hear about something other than the devastating floods in Pakistan. Until the talk turned to Chile I was shocked to hear that it will be another 4 months before the trapped Chilean miners will be rescued. Nothing takes 4 months, I told my radio. Google it.
