http://pardestreehouse4.blogspot.com/2015/05/prayers-for-peace.html
Tuesday, May 5, 2015. After studying Tefillah for a year together, it's obvious that the Kitah Dalet students are deep thinkers who are ready for peace in our busy ever changing world. Here are their words from our Tefillah journal Sunday May 3rd. I hope that there is peace in the world and no war will happen because they need to end soon. Andy's 10th Grade Class
http://pardestreehouseandy.blogspot.com/2011/10/as-we-continue-our-journey.html
Wednesday, October 26, 2011. As we continue our journey. Our class focused this week on bullying. Statistics share that:. 75 percent of people in the world are bullied. 75 percent of people in the world are the ones doing the bullying. The scary part is the 85 percent that serve as the bystanders. They do nothing to help stop the bullying. Our class spent time identifying groups that bully and discussed why they do what they do. We also gave some examples of ways to not be a bystander.

Alli & Elisheva's Kitah Dalet: Purim fun
http://pardestreehouse4.blogspot.com/2015/02/purim-fun.html
Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Kitah Dalet has created a Purim program which we will video on Sunday. The video will be shown at the Purim Seuda, and perhaps posted online. The script for the program is at right, under homework. (Note - some students chose to create art or to run sound effects or to do other off-camera work. It is truly a class project, however, with everyone having input.). We have scheduled hamantaschen baking as well! An early Happy Purim to you all. Then onwards to Pesach.

Alli & Elisheva's Kitah Dalet: Coming soon......
http://pardestreehouse4.blogspot.com/2015/01/coming-soon.html
Friday, January 30, 2015. On Tuesday we'll be running a Tu B'Shevat Seder for the 2nd and 3rd grades. If your family would like to use our seder booklet, please email me and I will send you a copy. (The copy is our generic seder, not quite the personalized one we'll be presenting.). Our Tzedaka cause is now the Israeli Cancer Research Fund, which has financed many scientific breakthroughs and treatments. Cancer has touched most all our lives. This is a chance to do something to save lives. Shalom for now,.

Wednesday, October 19, 2011. October 16, 2011. Who am I' is a question that each of us asks some time in our life. In answering, we define ourselves. The Confirmation students had an opportunity to create an "Identity Chart". They were asked what words help define them. We shared the story of: "The Bear that wasn't". You can preview the youtube presentation at: The Bear That Wasn't. Posted by Andrew Schwebel. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
