Welcome to my website! Sailing, Sailing is a 12" (finished) block which features several 3-dimensional elements. The prairie point waves and the sails are both created by folding fabric squares into triangles. You will need Adobe Reader to get the block. Tracing paper works great as a stabilizer under machine applique. And it tears away a lot easier than the stuff you buy by the yard. I also cut it into 8 1/2" x 11" sheets and run it through the printer one sheet at a time for paper foundation.

I was inspired by the Lemon-Berry Slush at Sonic – which is another summer favorite.
