Paris On A Student's Budget. Thursday, December 31, 2009. Just got back from a lovely shopping trip with Sophie and we each came back with new outfits for new years! I actually got 2 dresses because, as Sophie said, "When will you be back in London again? Tonight the big house party kicks off so we've got some cleaning to do around the house before we slip into our new outfits and ring in the new year! Happy new year everyone! Paris On A Student's Budget. Wednesday, September 30, 2009. On the metro this morning, an elderly man and his accordion got on the ligne 4 at Cité. His frail fingers lifted up in anticipation of the first note and then hopped magically along the pegs and keyboard like young dancers. His choice of songs was perhaps cliché, though I prefer to call it classic. Something inside me longed to burst into tears as his wrinkled eyelids closed for Edith Piaf. Budget tips for the day:.
