Thursday, May 2, 2013. After following up on last night's post, I did a search on mess kits. They are very affordable, use minimal storage, and make it possible to cook just about anything! Looking a little further, I found a huge assortment of camping gear. There's not a lot that we will need, but I was surprised at what is available. That's right - we need and want a GPS. That's camping equipment, right? It will be very beneficial when finding our way to all of the parks. Thanks for your support,.

Previously, we stated that we are visiting 134 state parks, and 3 national parks. In fact, our State Park list included the Appalachian Trail, which is considered a National Park, making the totals 133 state and 4 national. Erie Canalway - National Heritage Corridor.
