Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Swiss Christmas was a big success for our first year. My friends and I had no idea what to expect. We had a lot of fun, made some money and are planning on doing it again next year. I sold hooded towels, nursing covers and crayon rolls. Below are a couple of my creations. My crayon rolls sold completely out in the first 5 hours, I should have made 100 of them! If you are in the area next year, stop on by! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Saturday, November 8, 2014. The kids were in heaven. They would go hiking, digging in the dirt, climbing trees, etc. It was funny to see so many kids in our site. It was like a swarm of bees that just hovered from area to area. For as full as Moab was, this site turned out to be just about perfect for our group size. That morning we took our kids with the Williams over to the Bar M trails to do some kid friendly mountain biking while Spencer and Doug took their boys into Arches National Park. Aubrey is s...

Tuesday, May 11, 2010. My newest creation is probably one of my favorites! I was making a dinosaur towel and thought I'd try something different. I found a website. That sells hooded towels and made my version of their alligator. My sister had her baby shower last Saturday so I gave it to her, much to the dismay of my children. Her husband is from Texas and grew up around "gators" so it was very fitting that their little guy have it. I love making these towels because they are so quick and easy!

Pieces By Lisa: Tiered Dress
http://piecesbylisa.blogspot.com/2011/10/tiered-dress.html
Thursday, October 27, 2011. We had a brand new Walmart open up in the Heber Valley a couple months ago and there was a big bin of patterns on sale for a dollar by the fabric department. I decided I'd give this cute dress a shot. I picked some cute soft corduroy fabric and whala! I was a little worried about the length of the dress, I thought I might need to add another tier. But, it's about the same length as her other dresses and she can always wear leggings/tights underneath. View my complete profile.

I am terrible at the blogging thing, so like usual I will just post a bunch of pictures from the last little while. We were lucky enough to spend the holidays with family and friends. Until next time. Kade loved his little dinosaur Santa brought him. So did Tate! Jase and Maddi, little buddies! Ty and Grandpa George. Santa comes Christmas eve to my moms home. He takes last minute requests.

Wednesday, January 27, 2010. I bought fabric for this bag well over a year ago while still living in Colorado. I've been wanting to put my sewing machine away for awhile and focus on scrapbooking. So I thought I'd better whip out this bag, so that it wasn't lingering on my to do list. I wanted to make it more like a diaper bag, so I made it wider, not as tall and did a foldover. I can't even tell you how far behind I am on scrapbooking. Like, I've only got my honeymoon scrapbooked. It's All In The Bag.

Saturday, January 31, 2009. Everything from Christmas to now. Yupi am lazy.but Becky nagged me enough to do an update.so here we go. Christmas was great. We got more than we deserved and realized more how great our families are. Easton got the "crashing fing" he has been wanting for nearly 8 months.and he hardly plays with it, but considering it is in our basement that is freezing, hopefully things will change when the weather warms up.
