http://patrick-macedonia.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
To Be Decided at a Later Time. Tuesday, October 28, 2014. Brace Yourself, Patrick is Coming. So I am less than 24 hours away from officially becoming an RPCV (Returned Peace Corps Volunteer). I must say that I have really enjoyed my service. Macedonia has some of the nicest people that I have met (as well as some of the worst, but doesn’t everywhere have those people? I made a list (I know, more lists, right? Of ways in which Macedonia has changed some things about me:. Kissing on the cheek when you meet...

http://patrick-macedonia.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
To Be Decided at a Later Time. Saturday, March 23, 2013. This list here may as well be a sketch of a house. Things I have gotten used to:. Cars, including the one you’re in, going in reverse down highways or main roads. Seeing my breath indoors and outdoors and thinking: “Hmmm, it’s not so cold today”. Seeing exposed electrical wiring in the bathroom when I’m taking a shower – SHOCKWIRE! Everyone knowing who I am even though I have never met them before. All the stray animals (dogs mostly). I may at time...

http://patrick-macedonia.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
To Be Decided at a Later Time. Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Yeah, so two months without a post; I was distracted and lazy. So, let’s talk about summer camps! I went to one and am currently working on putting on together. So, from June 26. And they don’t just do that to PCVs, they do that to other Macedonians too, men and women! I really thought that they only did that to PCVs. Trail to Rough Camp. Top of the mountain. I slept there, away from all of the loud kids. The Naturalist" - it was a class. Boys camp i...

To Be Decided at a Later Time: January 2013
http://patrick-macedonia.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
To Be Decided at a Later Time. Friday, January 11, 2013. Benihana Christmas, Morrocan Christmas, Classy Christmas, American Christmas, Macedonian Christmas! So I haven’t posted anything in a couple of weeks, so I thought that now that most of the holidays are over I will tell you all what I have been up to. In Macedonia most people that are Christian are Orthodox, so they celebrate Christmas on the 5. Medieval pottery with some medieval paint on it. This is actually a goat pen. It was so tasty! There was...

To Be Decided at a Later Time: August 2016

To Be Decided at a Later Time. Monday, August 15, 2016. Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? So then I began thinking about that word: "brat". If we began calling everyone "brother", "mother", "sister", began thinking and believing in others in those terms, would we act differently? If we began calling strangers our brothers and sisters, would we be less reserved about helping others? God calls us to serve our neighbors; in the story, when someone asked "and who is my neighbor? To Be Decided at a Later Time: I’ll Be Back!
http://patrick-macedonia.blogspot.com/2014/09/ill-be-back.html
To Be Decided at a Later Time. Thursday, September 18, 2014. I’ll Be Back! So as of September 16. I have been in Macedonia for two full years. Overall, I think I am really pleased with my time here. Some people from our group of volunteers have gone back early (for various reason) but the vast majority of us have remained to finish out our service. Some people from our group are even extending for anywhere from a couple of months to a full year! So my official COS date is October 29. I read a lot more now.

To Be Decided at a Later Time. Sunday, May 26, 2013. Hello, my name is Patrick and I am a volunteer.". Two posts in one month? I know, it’s amazing. So, I wanted to talk about something that is obvious and yet not obvious at the same time. So part of Peace Corps life is integrating into your community. “So, how do you go about doing that? 8221; I’ve been asking myself. Find things to do with people from the community, talk with them, go for coffee with them, etc. Sounds simple, right? Make it so that you...

To Be Decided at a Later Time: January 2015
http://patrick-macedonia.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
To Be Decided at a Later Time. Sunday, January 11, 2015. This will be my final entry. probably. There are a lot of places on the east coast of the United States that I call home and now I have one (or several) six time zones away in Macedonia as well. If you want to go on an adventure, make a difference, make yourself different, learn a foreign language, or just have stories for days, I would suggest joining the Peace Corps – but only if you can be flexible. To Be Decided at a Later Time: September 2013
http://patrick-macedonia.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
To Be Decided at a Later Time. Monday, September 16, 2013. Well, we have finally hit that milestone – I have been here for an entire year. Can you believe it? The time has gone by fast, as it always does, and so I am here with only 15 months remaining. I say only 15 months because I do not see the end of that time as something far away. This first year has gone by so fast that this next one is going to go by just as fast is not even faster! I can also explain card games (like Nertz and Spit) to kids.
