Josie loves Parker Part 2. We spent the weekend wine-tasting and swimming with Paige and Jared and Jared's family. Josie couldn't keep her hands off Parker mostly because he's so cute, and partly because she still needs a little help to stand. Elvis in the Bathtub. Tonight our little cowgirl went trick-or-treating with her playgroup friends. Josie went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house in her cowgirl costume and rocked that rocking horse. One of the perks to being 1 year old is that you get to sit facing forward in the car. Woo hoo! We tested out Josie's shiny new wagon on a walk a few nights ago. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! Check out my new teeth! It's been hot so we moved the bath outside. A night out in Las Vegas to celebrate Grandma's 60th birthday. We spent the hot hot Vegas day enjoying our poolside cabana. The Stremel family went to Las Vegas for Grandma Diane's 60th birthday. Our first night on the Strip: wanderin', gamblin', dancin' to the dancing waters. Everything is so much more fun when your swimsuits match. Paige and Parker flew up for the weekend to see all of us, and we were just like six peas in a pod.

We spent a few afternoons at one of Ella's favorite hangouts: the botanical gardens. Can't get enough of the beach. It was windy and wild at the Pali Lookout. Firehouse PJs and Two Happy Dads. We went to Hawaii to visit Mel, Jon, and Ella just a few weeks before Baby Owen was due. Josie loved being with her big cousin Ella Here they are in their giant sand hole at the beach. Some of these mammoth sunflowers are at least 14 feet tall! Foggy Day in SF. Josie, Mason, and Meher: baby buddies on the move.

New York, New York. We went to New York City for a few days of adventure and fun. Josie took it all in:. The tall skyscrapers,. The Museum of Natural History,. Dim sum in Chinatown,. And a carriage ride in Central Park. We were so lucky to be able to see our friend Jessica who is living in New York. She accompanied us to the zoo for the day. Out on the Town.
