Impact on the Community. The impact of this development on the community extends well beyond the loss of cultural and historical heritage, it strikes to the very heart of Washington Crossing. Revolutionary Ridge is located in the heart of Washington Crossing. Near the South Entrance of Washington Crossing Historic Park. Directly adjacent Delaware Canal State Park. The Taylor's View development plan calls for an apartment complex with massive 3-story buildings overshadowing the Canal, effluent from 86 parking places endangering fragile wetlands, and 28 families wedged into approximately 3 acres that will no longer be wooded.
