After about 3 or 4 days of swimming they both lost their fear of the water and now will both jump and go under the water. Traver has taught himself how to swim and Kaden thinks he can! McKenna is quite the reader and often asks for books as presents. We got her this Harry Potter series, but she read them all from the school library before Christmas even got here! Sunday, August 1, 2010. Dance Festival @ Shelley Elementary. Every Spring Shelley Elementary has a dance festival where all of the kids get to perform a dance number for family and friends out on the school field. Mitchell's group (the kindergarteners) did a Humpty Dumpty number. Here he is in his Humpty Dumpty outfit. Mitch really had a blast out there. The 2nd graders did "The Monster Mash" Here is Meghan as a Zombie and her friend Brinley as a mummy. And her dad just loves being in this picture.
