A lot has happened, and I don't even know where to begin! There have been some really difficult times, and some really wonderful times. Of the wonderful times was my visit home in August, which included: spending 5 straight days of 24 hours with the kids, Brittany's wedding, meeting my new niece Violet, seeing friends and family. Scott, Margo, Olivia, and Ethan all came down for the kids first visit to Walt Disney World - and to see me, of course. ;) It was SO MUCH FUN! Wednesday, April 11, 2012. The Time I Broke My Catholic Muscle. At the basilica, Stations are downstairs in the crypt church which hasn't nearly the seating as the great upper church. Not nearly. After the success of the persimmon bread I made I decided to try out a persimmon dessert recipe: persimmon pudding cake. It's as easy to mix up as the bread was-easier in fact as there are no dates to pit and chop! Sherlock wanted in on the baking action. Using fleur de sal, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove.
