Sarah's Bearded Dragon Rescue. Monday, August 3, 2015. The "Proper Beardie Care" page is now Complete! I finally updated my "Proper Beardie Care" page on my blog. It's now complete. I even added pics (from Google because I'm lazy this morning). ;). And refer your friends to it. All the basics you need to know to get started. You can never know too much. I don't even know everything! For example, until last month, I didn't know how to do a beardie enema. So you can always, always be learning. 4 years ago ...

Sarah's Bearded Dragon Rescue: 2.54 Seconds
http://sarahsbeardeddragonrescue.blogspot.com/2015/08/254-seconds.html
Sarah's Bearded Dragon Rescue. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. It took me an hour (because I have a cast on my right foot and can't walk on it at all) to clean all 7 beardie tanks and the baby tortoise tank. They are now clean for the next 2.54 seconds. Well, except MuShu's tank because she pooped in her clean tank before I was even half done cleaning the next tank so her tank got cleaned twice. Baby tortoises, MuShu, and Moose-. And Fat Lucy's tank-. And my lovely pink cast-. Poop is the biggest part of rescue.

Sarah's Bearded Dragon Rescue: July 2015
http://sarahsbeardeddragonrescue.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Sarah's Bearded Dragon Rescue. Friday, July 31, 2015. Update on my Sicklies. Lucy had a pretty down day. She didn't move much and didn't eat. It's just a waiting game with her to see how she does. MuShu still is not eating much and so she's not pooping enough for me to do a fecal test on her. We still don't know why she had a prolapse in the first place. So we're just waiting for her to start eating normally. Labels: Lucy the beardie. Thursday, July 30, 2015. Moose, rescue 95. I miss birds and fostering ...

Sarah's Bearded Dragon Rescue: Bird Sitting
http://sarahsbeardeddragonrescue.blogspot.com/2015/07/bird-sitting.html
Sarah's Bearded Dragon Rescue. Thursday, July 30, 2015. We are watching our friend's cockatiel Tickle this week. Tickle has bonded only with my youngest child and doesn't wNt anyone else to touch him. He can be a very bratty bird. I miss birds and fostering them. I started off doing bird rescue years ago but switched to reptiles since my husband was allergic to the feathers. About the time Tickle starts screeching and singing at 6:30 in the morning, I'm okay with not having birds anymore. ;). View my com...

Sarah's Bearded Dragon Rescue. Saturday, August 8, 2015. The 7 foot long, 6 pound boa we've tried so hard to save didn't make it. She started bleeding yesterday as her skin started peeling and it wouldn't stop. She had been eating and drinking on her own, but she was too far gone. :(. The dark side of rescue. Sarah's Bearded Dragon Rescue: Tortoise Transport
http://sarahsbeardeddragonrescue.blogspot.com/2015/08/tortoise-transport.html
Sarah's Bearded Dragon Rescue. Thursday, August 13, 2015. My rescue buddy's sulcata tortoise needed a trip to the vet and he's been almost bedridden with a back injury. So today I drove to get Turtle Boy and get him to the vet. It's a one hour drive each way. He rode in style. He explored the waiting room. His poor eyes were weepy and he kept blowing snot bubbles. He took a nap. Every few minutes he would cough. Poor guy. He hated the vet! He wanted to leave! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). AWESOME B...
