BY CHANCE: November 2013
http://travelbychance.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
THE TRAVELS AND ADVENTURES OF DAN AND PATTY CHANCE. Saturday, November 30, 2013. We made a couple of stops along the 25 mile road up to the top of Mount Lemon, the first being at a popular vista point where all of Tucson is visible down below. The spectacular rock formations are worth this drive, just by themselves. Somebody is getting ready to launch a snowball at Grandpa! Friday, November 29, 2013. As is the case with most of ourThanksgiving dinners, there was plenty to eat, thanks to Patty and Chandra...

BY CHANCE: FINISHED
http://travelbychance.blogspot.com/2014/03/finished.html
THE TRAVELS AND ADVENTURES OF DAN AND PATTY CHANCE. Sunday, March 2, 2014. Except for a coat of paint to match the garage, and a darker trim color, the tractor port is finished. I put up the last 20 boards yesterday, just before the rain started to fall. The next order of business was a quick trip over to the fairgrounds, where a gun show was taking place this weekend. A few years ago, you didn't hear, or see people waiting in line to buy ammo. That's not the case today! Not true. According to Wikipe...

BY CHANCE: CHANGE IN PLANS
http://travelbychance.blogspot.com/2014/03/change-in-plans.html
THE TRAVELS AND ADVENTURES OF DAN AND PATTY CHANCE. Monday, March 10, 2014. My Grand Daughter, and my Grand Dog yesterday morning in front of the fire. 56 more miles to Charlotte, N.C. Even though the return leg of our quick trip was a bit hectic, it was all worth it. Getting my two boys together, and seeing Mike and Amy's beautiful new home for the first time, as they say, was priceless! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). VAIL (Tucson), Arizona. BY CHANCE: February 2014
http://travelbychance.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
THE TRAVELS AND ADVENTURES OF DAN AND PATTY CHANCE. Friday, February 28, 2014. A COUPLE OF SURPRISES. Just about sunset time, I noticed some movement out in the front yard. When I looked closer, I saw several Javelina's walking toward our driveway gate, near the neighbor's house. There were about 15 of the little critters, and they just kept coming. Is a group of wild pigs called a herd, a pack, a gaggle, or what? Thursday, February 27, 2014. NEW ELECTRIC and WATER. Wednesday, February 26, 2014. The firs...

BY CHANCE: October 2013
http://travelbychance.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
THE TRAVELS AND ADVENTURES OF DAN AND PATTY CHANCE. Thursday, October 31, 2013. Adding a sort of carport to the south side of the garage, has always been on the project schedule, and yesterday, it got moved to the top of the long list. Extending the roof line of the garage 14 feet will give me a covered, semi protected place to park the trailers, and the tractor. I think I'll call it a tractor port. Wednesday, October 30, 2013. IT MIGHT BE "SNOOPY". Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Monday, October 28, 2013.

BY CHANCE: A FATHER, SONS PROJECT
http://travelbychance.blogspot.com/2014/03/a-father-sons-project.html
THE TRAVELS AND ADVENTURES OF DAN AND PATTY CHANCE. Sunday, March 9, 2014. A FATHER, SONS PROJECT. Amy and Mike just before we all stuffed ourselves. Just like the old man, Mike, along with Amy's help, cooked up a hearty breakfast of bacon, eggs, and pancakes yesterday morning. We needed the fuel for a small concrete project that we tackled later in the day. Laila found a temporary new pet near Uncle Mike's woodpile. My two sons, Mike and Marc. Friday, August 29, 2014 at 1:39:00 PM MST. At the very least...

BY CHANCE: FROM WARM TO COLD
http://travelbychance.blogspot.com/2014/03/from-warm-to-cold.html
THE TRAVELS AND ADVENTURES OF DAN AND PATTY CHANCE. Thursday, March 6, 2014. FROM WARM TO COLD. The dreaded long pants, and the even more extreme jacket, will be part of the attire for the next few days. Yep, we Arizonians are spoiled, no doubt about it. We're both looking forward to a visit with Marc's brother Mike, and his wife Amy, before we return to the desert on Monday. Mike's third deployment to Afghanistan begins next month, and he's scheduled to return sometime in August. VAIL (Tucson), Arizona.

BY CHANCE: 34 YEARS
http://travelbychance.blogspot.com/2014/03/34-years.html
THE TRAVELS AND ADVENTURES OF DAN AND PATTY CHANCE. Monday, March 3, 2014. I'm up a little earlier than usual this morning, as I return part time to the work force. At 8am, I'll be punching the time clock at La Mesa RV, doing several days of orientation, prior to becoming an RV driver for the company. I have a feeling that driving motor homes will be a whole lot less stressful than my last job of driving buses full of tourists at the Grand Canyon. Monday, March 3, 2014 at 7:17:00 AM MST. BY CHANCE: January 2014
http://travelbychance.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
THE TRAVELS AND ADVENTURES OF DAN AND PATTY CHANCE. Friday, January 31, 2014. We'll see what the response is, but I'm pretty sure that my concrete footings will not have a building on them for at least several more weeks. A new working water line in the front yard as of yesterday. Thursday, January 30, 2014. Wednesday, January 29, 2014. FIXING A SCREW UP. Had I double checked all of the connections, this manual labor would have been preventable. The silver lining was that the fix was as simple as cle...
