Foods in the life of an English vegan. Monday, 29 November 2010. It's been a dastardly cold wintry day today and it's not even December yet! To warm and cheer us I made these spiced biscuits with cinnamon for warmth and cashews for bite. 1 tsp ground cinnamon. A large pinch ground nutmeg. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. A sprinkle of salt. Preheat oven to 180c. Grind the cashews in a mini chopper (or something) then add the other ingredients and whizz until it makes dough. Bake for 8 mintes or until golden.

We had a great time. Monday, May 8, 2017. Freedom's Trip with McKenzie to California. Freedom to San Francisco for a four-day trip where we stayed with family friends and had a beautiful view of Twin Peaks and the San Francisco Bay! At the top of Twin Peaks. This summer, after three blazing days of record heat, the thermometer swung to the other extreme and left me shivering and wondering why on earth I was turning the heater on in August. So what can you do with summer crops that will warm you up? We turned to soup. 3 ears sweet corn. 3/4 cup olive oil. 1 avocado, diced.
