Thursday, 16 June 2011. Fishomania Qualifier 2011- Huge Success! WAS A MASSIVE SUCCESS! With hot, bright and sunny conditions, the carp spawning- none of this impeded on an excellent match! The top four Anglers all fished on different lakes! Was local angler Rob Pelling fishing on an unfancied Peg 10 on Marsh Canal. He fished pellets on the deck, tight across and bagged a winning weight of 85lbs. A very close runner. Up was Paul Christie with a mixed bag of Mirror and Common Carp from Peg 3, on Holbar 2.
