Zack and Calli's Fund. Every year around 500 families in the UK will receive the devastating news that their precious child has Leukaemia. That means everyday there is at least one family out there coming to terms with the possibility that their child may die. Indeed, this life threatening disease is the most common of all childhood cancers and is on the increase. Treatment involves intensive chemotherapy lasting over 2 years for girls and over 3 years for boys. Tragically, around a fifth will not.
