Sunday, June 26, 2011. I had my sewing machine out the other day doing some repairs and decided to stitch up some paper scraps to use on cards. It was so much fun that I just kept sewing. I tried straight stitching but ended up doing most of the sewing with zig-zag because it showed up so much better. I have told a few people that I would take pictures of my craft room "corner" when I got everything done. Sunday, March 20, 2011. I just finished some more cards. My goal is to fill the folder of different cards so that when I need one, I don't have to find time to make one because I will have an array to choose from.already finished. I think they turned out well. I just got a new Sizzix Texture Botique and I love the swiss dots folder. It adds a little something extra and gives the card some texture as well. Sunday, April 7, 2013. It has been a year since I have used this blog. Life has been busy, fun stressful and crazy.normal in other words! I sent my camera with my son on his journey to China and Belgium and now to Prague. It was stolen along with his computer and phone among other things. I now have a new camera and I am going to try to use it more often and post pictures of the things I am working on. This last week we had all 9 grandkids here. What a fun fun mad house! I was going to post at least once a month and take more pictures (which my kids would laugh at.because I never remember that I have a camera in hand when I should be taking pictures! Susannah graduated from BYU-I in December 2010 and James graduated from BYU in April 2011 so we have two kids living back home with us. Saturday, April 9, 2011. Plates and More Plates. We finally made our big purchases and were on our way! Now the big problem is to find a place to store them! Wednesday, July 20, 2011. We have had a couple of amazing storms the past two weeks. The first one moved in so fast that we didn't even get any pictures, but we saw the second one moving in and ran to get the camera! Everything was once again covered with 1/4" of dust, but Mother Nature is so awesome that I didn't even care. They are just so fun to watch as long as you don't have to be out in them. Sunday, August 28, 2011. I haven't done many cardmaking projects lately, but I decided to try making a re-purposed or altered frame. A few weeks ago our family was all together for the first time in about 3 years. We took a picture of all of us together but I didn't get one of just my grandchildren, because of course not everyone was co-operating! It sure stimulates the creative juices. All eight of them!
