April 30, 2012. Today marks the last day of BorderBeat for my classmates and I this semester. After all the stories, special projects, multimedia pieces and live reports we have done, I can in confidence say that I have learned and improved some great skills that will help me in the business and journalism world but also personal life too. Now I can successfully make a multimedia slideshow and video montage say for someone’s wedding? Or a bat mitzvah? WHEN I FIND OUT THAT BORDER COUTURE WILL CONTINUE.

Operation book drop: ape house. I left this book at the Incheon Airport at Gate 113. I bought it from Bookman’s (a used bookstore here in Tucson) as a time-killer for my flight to Korea. It was so good I couldn’t put it down! If you have found any of my books, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment so I know where the book is now! You can search for them under category (Operation Book Drop), tag (book drop) or title (in the search bar). Thank you and I hope you enjoy! Oi, gotta start queuing posts again.

Instruction or enlightenment that is moderately fun and predominantly useless. January 16, 2012. Lizzi and I returned yesterday from a week's vacation. Our time away was mostly spent in Phoenix and Boulder, punctuated by quick trips to Tucson and Breckenridge. Though the comforts of home are always easily greeted, the trip was an overall joy, save for the occasional bed bug attack and gradual loss of sanity arising from endless packing and unpacking. Was fantastic), a brisk hike up Piestewa Peak. And lea...
