Sunday, October 30, 2011. Family Day at Shipyard. Today all Meyer Werft families got access to tour the shipyard. There were some really nice displays and festivities. It was interesting to see the steel cutting building and of course, our ride home - the Fantasy! She is sitting behind us above. The festivities included food, bouncy play areas for kids, and live entertainment. We enjoyed the interactive drum group. Cool! I found kiddy lederhosen here in Papenburg and they looked adorable! Sunday, September 25, 2011. No Butts about it, Superb Fall Weekend! The SUN WAS OUT! We saw it. It really does exist! Dunno, but I'm guessing it pisses her off! Andrew was in heaven with the various 'how it works' displays. He got right down to milking the cardboard cow. He also liked the tractors and the homemade (in front of you) apple juice. Saturday, January 21, 2012. Nearly two weeks ago the Fantasy floated out of the building hall. Yesterday she said goodbye to the shipyard and took her first big leap into the sea.
