Wednesday, March 19, 2014. After five glorious weeks on the dock in Key West, Passage finally set sail for Marathon on Friday, March 8th. The forecast was for north winds about 10; so once we reached the Hawk Channel, we prepared to raise the main sail. At that exact moment the wind built and shifted to the northeast. No sailing for us! Dave and Nancy are a lot of fun, and Katie was pretty entertaining too. John has a distinctive voice, and sings many original compositions. A good time was had by all.

Sunday, November 28, 2010. New Season In Florida. We lived aboard in the yard for four days while we worked on the drive leg and put two coats of wax on the hulls. We just touched up the bottom paint with one quart of antifouling paint, but we added cayenne pepper to the paint. We will see if that makes a difference. Monday, February 24, 2014. After attending an art show on the street near the Truman annex, we cast off for a day on the sparkling waters of the Keys. At first the wind was so light that the current actually took us backwards! However, it filled in nicely; and we enjoyed a wonderful sail towards the reef and the open Atlantic Ocean. Friday, September 20, 2013. At 12:15am on Monday, September 16th, the alarm went off; and we prepped for our night time passage up the Delaware Bay. In order to ride the current, we needed to be through the Cape May Canal by 2:00 am At the end of the canal, we were confused by the lights of a dredge barge and went over his submerged pipes. We have had a couple of cool nights,in the 50`s but tonight is gorgeous with a blazing orange sunset.Mike hasn`t gone fishing here but helped a fisherman clean his catch and was rewarded with a nice strawberry grouper. The docks are not full,business is very slow in the islands.We got an excellent dockage rate that included electric,water and cable and they have clean showers ,pool and restaurant and bar. E left the Lake Worth Inlet on Thursday afternoon on the way to Great Sale Cay with two other boats, Lee Ann and Madeline. We had a good crossing, about 4 ft swells with a 12 second period on our stern quarter. It wasn't a great crossing, but it wasn't bad either.
