Me: Do you think that there are other ways to help save children's lives besides donating money? Shelby: There are a lot of ways to help besides donating money, like donating your time and voulenteering. Me: If you help the community by donating your time or voulenteering, do you think that you should still donate money like Singer says to do?

Is there no difference between spending money on yourself and spending money to save someone's life? Is every individual entitled to the pursuit of his or her own happiness regardless of the consequences? Are some happinesses more lasting and meaningful than others? I think that everyone is entitled to pursue happiness as long as you're willing to deal with the consequences. Here are my thoughts.
