May 2012 ~ Passionately Pretending
http://www.passionatelypretending.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Because the whole world keeps telling me that I should be passionate about something. This is is not Stacey's picture. Stacey doesn't know how to work this yet. This picture will change. Eventually. Hopefully. Sunday, May 27, 2012. Of faith and work. Sunday, May 27, 2012. I'm not even exactly sure what happened, or how it happened. Up until Holy Week everything seemed to be happily moving along. And then, for some reason, the time-space continuum collapsed and I suddenly began to wonder when 24hr...In th...

Because the whole world keeps telling me that I should be passionate about something. This is is not Stacey's picture. Stacey doesn't know how to work this yet. This picture will change. Eventually. Hopefully. Thursday, August 15, 2013. Thursday, August 15, 2013. On occasion a part of me will yearn for something that is just for me. A little reminder of the casual freedom of a previous life. So, thinking that somehow I had the time for it, I finally opened up an oDesk account. I was going to ...Look clos...
Patience ~ Passionately Pretending

Because the whole world keeps telling me that I should be passionate about something. Thursday, August 15, 2013. Thursday, August 15, 2013. A week ago I was optimistic about finally being able to regain some control of my life. Since moving, getting married and giving birth, my lifestyle has not exactly been the same. That is not to say that I am worse off than before. It is just to say that now I am different. Look closely at the rhythm of the day for me and my son, I can probably find the extra 2 or 4 ...

Because the whole world keeps telling me that I should be passionate about something. Friday, June 29, 2012. Planting myself in The Dusun. Friday, June 29, 2012. So it is always a wonderful respite when I can travel and not step into a boardroom or look at a powerpoint slide. Which, thankfully, is exactly what I had on Independence Day weekend. For one brief moment, I was a plane and car-ride away from everything corporate. Literally. Stall #748 located in the town public market. When you hit The Dusun.

I have about 4 or 5 topics in my head that I've been wanting to write about. But as usual, it is staying mostly in my head. If you want to know what they were,. Get a basin and f...

Life as a Blue Blazer Mommy: June 2012
http://blueblazermommy.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Life as a Blue Blazer Mommy. Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Another first has come and gone - Nico's first day at school! All dressed in his (oversized) uniform and ready to go, he puts on his brand new Zebra backpack and trooped to the bathroom to check himself out! On the way to school, there was not a smidge of anxiety in him. It was a good idea to send him to summer camp to get him used to the idea of a new school, having transitioned from once-twice a week play school. Walking into school with Zebarie.
Life as a Blue Blazer Mommy: September 2011
http://blueblazermommy.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Life as a Blue Blazer Mommy. Tuesday, September 20, 2011. A lesson in detachment. Some months ago, I posted that Nico's yaya had asked to leave. I actually asked her to stay until I found someone to replace her, to which she agreed. Well - months later, I have finally hired a replacement (although a little too young for my preference, we are giving her a try) but have asked the yaya to stay until the end of the month to help "teach" the replacement. A lesson in detachment. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
Life as a Blue Blazer Mommy: March 2013
http://blueblazermommy.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Life as a Blue Blazer Mommy. Monday, March 25, 2013. 10 Months in a flash! And we're back, after 7 months! One day, I posted about the first day of school. And before I knew it, it was the last day of school! So much for documenting the first year of school. Well, I've got it all in my external hard drive, so that will have to do. So while I am unable to blog about the 10 months, I will have to recount, in summary, that my little preschooler:. Now I know why girls' handwriting is so much nicer than boys'!

Life as a Blue Blazer Mommy: July 2011
http://blueblazermommy.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Life as a Blue Blazer Mommy. Monday, July 25, 2011. Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother. I've got shelves full of books that I have started and never finished, for all sorts of reasons. Been too busy, got too bored, or just plainly forgot I had bought them. And so my husband was quite surprised to hear that I had bought this book - Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother. I don't intend this post to be a review or a spoiler. I just wanted to say that I (yay! Finished the book, and enjoyed it! And numbers to read dai...

Ze Wifey Chronicles: Undomesticated
http://wifeychronicles.blogspot.com/2011/11/undomesticated.html
Monday, November 28, 2011. I stepped into this marriage completely undomesticated. It's been three months now, and all I can say is that I've still got a LOT. One thing I am proud of is that I (attempt to) cook most of our weekday meals. Me: A person who, three months ago, had 0.0000001% cooking skills. At the very least, my attitude towards the kitchen has changed. Posted by KRIS V. Looking forward to the next posts, kris! November 28, 2011 at 5:01 PM. November 29, 2011 at 6:14 AM. Musings about parenting, family in general, and my faith! Monday, February 4, 2013. Doing the Lord's will. Do they look malnurished, unhealthy, disobedient, unloved, ignored or any other negative thing? To my thinking they are not! Do we struggle at times with the ones we have? Of course we do. It'd be rediculous to say otherwise. Do you or will you struggle with your children? Does our disabilities play a factor in these struggles? Most definitely. Do we work through them? Reflections on the Passionate Pursuit of an Incredible Savior
Reflections on the Passionate Pursuit of an Incredible Savior. My Helmet Baby- Part II. August 5, 2013. I should have updated this about a month ago, but as a mom of multiples, it has been BUSY! Both boys are crawling and into EVERYTHING. We’ve also been doing some serious potty training with our toddler. I couldn’t imagine life busier than it is now, yet my life is so full of joy. God has so richly blessed us; it is difficult to put into words. Playing at one of his check-ups. Before: 7 months old.

Passionately Pursuing Christ
Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Love Goes on Forever. What is true love? Is it found in summer flings, lasting relationships, or young puppy love? I believe that I found one of my first examples of true love in the love story of my Grandpa and Grandma. A love story that is marked by time and unconditional love. My Grandpa and Grandma bring this verse to life through their unconditional love for one another. A shining example of what true love is meant to be. Set Apart for Him. Standing in the Storm. I'll stren...
