To start, I decided to catch up on some education news from the summer. Two stories caught my attention. First, I was glad to hear that the state passed a new law that makes it illegal to evaluate teachers based on the standardized test scores of students they never taught. Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Chris and I completed three obstacle runs this year. We did the Rugged Maniac at the end of July at the motocross track next to Bandimere Speedway. This was a really fun event – approximately 3 miles and 25 obstacles which made it basically a giant obstacle course. The obstacles were fun and challenging. We definitely plan to do this one again. I am a highly productive person, but I also think I try to add to many things to my list. Look at what I wanted to do in 2014. Looking back on 2014, I think there are things I ended up learning that I had not intended to learn. And chose to not add piano lessons to our already-full-plate.
