HOW TO LOCATE US. A Gourmet Culinary Destination in the Mohave Desert. Tecopa Hot Springs Road, Tecopa, CA 92389. Hwy 10 east to hwy 15 north, to Baker, Kelbaker road hwy 127 north for 48 miles. Turn right (east) at Old Spanish Trail. At Tecopa town center, turn left (north) on Tecopa Hot Springs Road. Pastels is 2 miles ahead at the northeast corner of Tecopa Hot Springs and Noonday Road. Area roads leading to Tecopa. Approximately 2 miles off State Hwy 127. 50 miles north of Baker, California.

I don't give 5 star reviews often, but this one is deserving. A completely unexpected gastronomical oasis in the desert! Pastel's serves unpretentious, affordable gourmet food in a funky little bistro smack dab in the middle of no where (aka Tecopa, CA). I had the crustless quiche (and I don't even like quiche, but it sounded good at the time). It was incredible, one of the most memorable meals I've had in a very long time.
