Perhaps you struggle with your own feelings about this situation: you probably feel anger, and have wished for vengeance on behalf of your brothers in Christ; and then perhaps you have felt guilt over this wish for vengeance. After all, didn’t Jesus tell us love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you? Does this negate what Jesus says: love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you?
