meditations from the mountain: August 2013

http://pastorlanny.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html

Meditations from the mountain. Thursday, August 8, 2013. 8220; Come now, let us argue it out, says the Lord:. 8221;—Isaiah 1.18. What a strange thing for the Lord to say to his people:. 8220;let us argue it out.”. Sounds more like something a friend would say to another friend about politics or religion. Sounds more like something a girlfriend would say to a boyfriend about a failure of commitment. One thing I’ve learned in life:. God can handle it. God already knows how we feel anyway. She writes that C...

meditations from the mountain: together

http://pastorlanny.blogspot.com/2015/05/together.html

Meditations from the mountain. Saturday, May 23, 2015. When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place.”. Lately, I’ve been captivated by the story of Rachel Held Evans spiritual journey. Rachel is a writer who grew up in a conservative, evangelical church. The early church needed this as well.

meditations from the mountain: Darkness and Light

http://pastorlanny.blogspot.com/2015/12/darkness-and-light.html

Meditations from the mountain. Wednesday, December 2, 2015. When I stand in your Presence. I am blinded by your light. I must close my eyes and. Feel your burning warmth. Lead me out of the present darkness. Into your perfect light. Into the heart of my darkness. And now, O Glory! I come into your. From the dark journey. That I may come at last. To the side of your manger. And adore with the wise ones. The Very Light of the World. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
