This happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God who raises the dead". And, since God raised jesus from the dead it stands to reason that he can answer any prayer we present to him. I had also read: "Our hope for you is firm". And finally: "We have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us".
