Pastor Steve's Travel Blog. A record of Pastor Steve's travels during his Sabbatical! Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Last night, I arrived in Istanbul and today I got off to an early start seeing the city! On the upside, I was up good and early and managed to be 5th in line to buy a ticket to see Hagia Sofia! When the Roman Empire split in two by the 6th century, Constantinople was the capital of the eastern, or Byzantine Empire. Tomorrow, I'm off on a cruise up the Bosphorus Strait! Pastor Steve's Travel Blog. A record of Pastor Steve's travels during his Sabbatical! Thursday, October 15, 2009. Yesterday, I arrived in Tel Aviv just an hour or so before Bishop Schneider and the rest of the group arrived from Paris. We set out together heading first to Joppa/Jaffe/Tel Aviv (all are really the same place), and managed to see a little bit there before the sun set. Then, we headed to Netanya for our first overnight. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sailing on the Nile. Israel - Part 7.

Pastor Steve, The Rising | Pastor Steve's Blog
Pastor Steve, The Rising. Pastor Steve's Blog. May 18, 2011. We just got back from our trip to Fayetteville, Arkansas for Leah’s Doctoral Graduation at the University of Arkansas. It was fourteen and a half hours each way through Colorado, Kansas, and Oklahoma. I can tell you the wheat crop looks good! Yet many people live their lives that way. A month ago I deci...

Wednesday, November 5, 2008. I ran across this excellent post from Mark Driscoll, the pastor of Mars Hill Church in Seattle, yesterday and thought that he hit it right on the head! I hope that this is food for considerable thought given the nature of the problems that we now face as a nation. In God We Do Not Trust. First, people are longing for a savior who will atone for their sins. In this election, people thirst for a savior who will atone for their economic sins of buying things they did not nee...
