https://billtheboomer.wordpress.com/2009/08/16/different-yesterday—different-tomorrow

A LifeWay Voice for Boomer Generation Ministry. August 16, 2009. Different Yesterday Different Tomorrow. What was the church like when Boomers were teens? Here’s the story of a friend of mine when she was a teen in Southern California:. Donna’s observation is interesting. Even in California, where her church was smaller than Bible Belt churches, boomers were changing what happened in the church. What will they do for the expression of church in the future? How will they change ministry to older adults?

Thoughts From Pastor Dan

Wednesday, May 5, 2010. As I was reading and asking God to allow me to see the scriptures in a new light I thought again about this idea of taking up your cross. A couple of blogs ago I wrote on this topic off an idea from Pastor Kevin, our Worship Arts Pastor. Today I would like to share another slant on "taking up your cross." First if we look at the Greek word "take" it is: airo. This has multiple meanings. But what did Jesus mean in that century to His disciples? Intent of the cross with His love&#46...

Pastors Thoughts | From the desk of Pastor Brian

From the desk of Pastor Brian. A nice development in the publishing world has been the opportunity for unknown writers to publish manuscripts through small market companies. Since I enjoy writing I thought the Sabbatical would be a good time to try my hand. What to write? Several years ago I was teaching the Cornerstone ABF on the subject of.

Pastor Jason D Stoeber | a ministry of Westbrook Baptist Church

Pastor Jason D Stoeber. A ministry of Westbrook Baptist Church. November 13, 2013. I am a Bible preacher….by that I mean that it is the infallible – perfect – preserved Word of God that is the basis and substance of my preaching! I am glad that a lot of preachers that I know and have a friendship with are the exact same in their approach to Bible preaching but, I still see a lot of ‘preaching’ today that is neither Bible-based, nor Biblical! Consider these verses about the Word of God. And produces a Scr...
