Better late than never.Emma Kate is 10 months old! Best way to keep her still was bribing her with graham crackers. House guests.wanted and unwanted. We have had a busy month. We LOVE visitors - friends, family. We do NOT love visits from a what seemed to be a never ending GI virus. Thankfully we are finally. This picture is a 'before church' shot. I'm proud to say I made and smocked Emma Kate's dress! Getting some baby cuddles before she had to go! It was supervised.no need to worry. It even got Patrick!

You may be wondering what's so funny! This is how Hudson woke up from his nap today - and the sheets, clothes, bumper pad, blanket and froggie are all in the wash. We stopped off in Atlanta on our way home from Birmingham for a Father's day surprise. G Love was performing at the midsummer music festival and Pat had missed one of his concerts in St Louis a few years ago - so it was time to make it up to him! Patrick and I had a much needed vacation to my favorite place - the beach! Weekend in the sunshine.

We are closing in on two birthdays and one huge celebration. Emma Kate is quickly approaching her 1st birthday (how did that happen! What's missing in this picture? Hudson had a nice nap and when he woke up he must have decided the diaper needed to go. So I found it on the ground. And a 'prize' in the bed. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Our first time fishing. Last Saturday we took a family trip to Piedmont and the kids had their first fishing experience in Uncle Ben and Aunt San's lake. Patrick thought fishing was a.maz.ing. He was so excited and not scared of touching the fish at all! He caught about 8 or 9 little fish.
