Counting one step at a time: Which is better?
http://vividencounters.blogspot.com/2013/03/which-is-better.html
Counting one step at a time. This is something I've been wanting to do for a while, upgrading my camera, so have been doing a bit of online research lately. After reading dozens of reviews, checking out sample pics and all, I still can't seem to find what's best for me. Though I did end up with a few options. BTW I didn't get a tripod since it looks pretty odd carrying one around, and it doesn't feel right to use a tripod to support a simple point-and-shoot cam. Also I think my BenQ doesn't have IS (...

Counting one step at a time. Kelaniya - A fountain of Art. Yesterday was a very special day for me. After 10 months, I parted from my teaching life. Many asked me why, but I just feel I'm fated to follow the writer's path. until my journey ends. And so from today on. I'm back to being the freelancer I once was. BTW I just noticed. I've passed the 4000 milestone in my visitor counter! Thanks so much for keeping this blog alive. even during its hibernating days. :D A sweeping big thank you for all! The pag...

Counting one step at a time. Time lapse with Kadupul. Kadupul or the Dutchman's Pipe ( Epiphyllum oxypetalum. And to make a time lapse, I picked few snaps from each shooting and arranged them in order. The only tweaking I did was, using Paint.NET, cropping, resizing and slightly fixing the brightness, contrast, level and saturation. I'll let the pictures do the talking from now on,. CTRL click to zoom in]. For more info on Kadupul check Wikipedia. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Somawathi...

Counting one step at a time. Why are they called butterflies? They are nothing like the creamy butter or the pesky little flies. Up, up and away! Common Sailor on jasmine leaf. Grey Pansy on Sepalika leaf. At first. I took shots from far with the fear of missing a chance. But with time I learnt to step closer as silently as possible. That's when I noticed that some butterflies don't mind posing for the cam as they don't even budge when my camera comes face to face with them. Links to this post. Denali (M...

Droplet of a Cascade: Grim Reaper and the Merry Mormon
http://randomizedinspirations.blogspot.com/2013/02/grim-reaper-and-merry-mormon.html
Droplet of a Cascade. For a dose of random inspirations. Feb 14, 2013. Grim Reaper and the Merry Mormon. Oh how lovely were the days when the sky wore azure drapes, and the soft tufts of silky clouds floated far far away. mused the merry Mormon as she fluttered about the jasmines, flaunting her vivid crimson motifs through the greens. From morning to night, and night to morning it rained for days on end. Why? Did anyone ever do something to invoke the wrath. of the god of rain? Or am I dead? The shots fe...

Droplet of a Cascade: December 2011
http://randomizedinspirations.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Droplet of a Cascade. For a dose of random inspirations. Dec 18, 2011. The Kite and the Bird. I thought we were the same. when I saw him and I, both soaring high. riding the winds in the boundless blue sky. I never believed in the red thread of fate, for I was always attached to a fine white thread with utmost strength. I was striving hard to escape the dictator at the other end. He knew I was trying to escape. So he tugged, real hard, and I swiftly drifted down. Everything around me was upside down!

Counting one step at a time. One Step at a Time. I thought of doing a revamp and a name change to my photo blog since I'm hoping to start off a new blog (somewhere in the near future) reserved only for my photographic attempts, trial and errors, discoveries and any tidbits related to the subject. So I've decided to use this blog to share only travel related pics - be it from my old mobile camera (that I haven't shared thus far) or the latest from my digital cam. Even the monkey walks one grip at a time.

Droplet of a Cascade: May 2012

Droplet of a Cascade. For a dose of random inspirations. May 19, 2012. The droplet and the friend. On the yellowy green banana leaf I sprinkled some water. Tiny mirrors suddenly popped. They allowed me to see the world, through their eyes. Dew drops on a blade of grass can't last long. But when those pearly droplets drop on to the ground, they connect and make tiny puddles. Water can't survive alone, nor can humans. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Counting one step at a time. To My Deares...

Counting one step at a time. The Legend of the Green Elves. They secretly whispered to each other and suddenly disappeared behind the slender leaves of the bush. I rushed back home, cleansed my hands, grabbed the camera and dashed to the site. This was a moment I couldn't miss. But when my camera took a sneak peek and started clicking right and left, the magic was gone! Want to see how they look like? Now a bit of zooming and. If I'm not mistaken, this little fellow was missing a hind leg! It's been a wh...
