catandvee: .: Me and My Sister class! :.
http://catandvee.blogspot.com/2015/08/me-and-my-sister-class.html
Friday, 14 August 2015. Me and My Sister class! I recently went to an awesome class at Patches Indooroopilly. It was with Barb and Mary from Me and My Sister Designs. My class was the Slice of Cake 2 pattern. I've finished 11 blocks now, and am thinking of sewing a few more and including them in my girls' quilts rather than making them into their own quilt. It was a really fun day, with LOTS of fun giveaways thanks to Moda. Barb and Mary have already blogged about their Australian adventures here. And no...

Phil and Jack: September 2010
http://philnjack.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Just a little blog to share my sewing adventures, books, movies, travel and all the good things that come my way. Thursday, September 30, 2010. This little dress is a favourite of mine. The fabric is gorgeous Windham Fabric from their 1930s Storybook range. So simple but so effective. Bit hard to see, but it is Little Bo Peep looking for her sheep. My very first post related to the quilting course I did with two special friends at Patches. And this is Anne's:. I've made this very sweet little skirt. ...

Quilts, cooking and craft. You are here: Home. Sydney Quilt Show 2015. 26 September, 2015. Wingdings: A Variety of Symbols by Lorena Uriarte. Inspired by the back side of Chuck Nohara’s Symbol Quilt. Oops, it’s only when I saw my quilt in Quiltmania. This week that I realised a massive oversight on my part. Seems I forgot to write about my most exciting quilty event of the year! The Quilters’ Guild of NSW’s annual Sydney Quilt Show. There was a spectacular Red and White Challenge. Like most of my quilts,...

Opal Essence Workshops

Quilts, cooking and craft. 18 April, 2015. It’s so exciting to finally have a pattern and some dates to teach my Opal Essence quilt! Writing instructions and coming up with something semi original is even harder than I had imagined. And very labour intensive. I’ve got some workshop dates booked and I will list them here once they are confirmed. The pattern will be published in a book of Australian quilters soon by Jane Davidson. And much work from the Melbourne MQG. And Jules McMahon from Canberra MQG.

Kit-Bik Quilts: Finishes!
http://kitbikquilts.blogspot.com/2011/10/finishes.html
Sunday, October 2, 2011. All it was waiting for was binding, so I finally caved and got someone else to do it. For $5 a metre, I couldn't resist! Finally, at age 17 months, Mary has received her hexagon quilt. Couldn't have done it without Lynn. This last one is a direct copy of Nova's gorgeous quilt as you go number. I followed her tutorial and I am so happy with the results. :-). I used Echino fabrics and a green solid. And did the same wonky - straight line quilting just like Nova did. I miss that age!

How To Be A Crafty Vegan: April 2010
http://howtobeacraftyvegan.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
How To Be A Crafty Vegan. Monday, April 12, 2010. I was thinking about visiting here. While in Coeur d'Alene. They were selected to be featured in the US Better Homes and Gardens Quilt Sampler which is quite competitive. Any suggestions of what to look out for? Sunday, April 11, 2010. I found this on Bear Patch Quilting Co.'s. Website and I love it! I would like to be able to make it using some paler colours so it'll have a shabby chic/ French country look to it. Atkinson's Designs: Notes from Terry Ann.
