http://farmhousetraditions.blogspot.com/2015/03/mothers-day-crochet-flowers.html

Sweet vintage home sewn. Directions given are based on the wrist of an average 9-11 year old. For larger/smaller sizes increase/decrease measurements. For example for myself I increased the 5cm/10cm measurements by 1-2cm. Approximately 1 metre flat suede cord. 1 Cut approximately 1 metre of flat suede cord and choose 9 pony beads, blending or contrasting colours in groups of 3. 2 Starting at the left side, measure approximately 20cm. 3 Make a simple knot in cord. 7 Repeat Step 5. http://farmhousetraditions.blogspot.com/2016_08_01_archive.html
Sweet vintage home sewn. Saturday, 20 August 2016. It's a lovely summer again with lots of visits this year from family. I love to make a little keepsake gift for my adorable niece and nephew and this year decided to make them a patchwork cushion to take home. Now for me, making anything for a boy is quite a challenge-I just have never had the practice and can't say my interest runs to football and the like! However, there is one theme that I do enjoy and it is so linked to Cornwall.pirates! After much r...

http://sarasquiltingcorner.blogspot.com/2015/05/elmers-glue-quilt-basting-tutorial.html

I tried pin basting and oh my aching back, not to mention I always, without fail, would have a pucker on the back of my quilt when I had finished quilting. I tried spray basting, certainly better than pin basting but still that dreaded pucker.and I would get a headache spraying those chemicals for a large quilt. The last and probably mo...
