My quilting, embroidery, and sewing adventures. We visited the beautiful town of Hahndorf yesterday and it never fails to amaze me. Being the oldest German town in Australia, many buildings have been restored and the food is amazing! We stopped for lunch at one of the hotels and I ordered a German Hot Dog. . This is what I received! After getting over our shock and having a laugh, the hot dog was great. I thoroughly recommend visiting Hahndorf if you are ever in Adelaide. Keep on sewing,.

This week I stumbled upon another blog that featured a tutorial for a ticker-tape quilt, and I was hooked! 0160; So I just HAD to make 1 block to see if I would like this method of making a whole quilt. The verdict? So this is my version of a ticker take block. Starting with a blank canvas ( I luv red)(and purple) (and blue) (and so on). And finished off with a lovely red block . My quilting, embroidery, and sewing adventures. On the way to Adelaide SA. On our way to Adelaide SA last Friday, this colorful picture stood out across the plains. As we came closer this is what we saw . We flew past at speed while I marvelled how someone took the trouble to knit/crochet this items, then drive all the way out to the middle of nowhere to take time to make sure this tree was warm for the winter! And, the Murray River looking nice and full. And trying to capture the wide expanse of country.

Maybe it was something an asshole thought to give BEFORE he revealed his asshole but it was worth it! 2 Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next this year? I don't typically do resolutions but I have for 2014. Financial goals, surrounding myself with those who bring light to my life and being more healthy all around. 3 Did anyone close to you give birth?
