Patchwork Times by Judy Laquidara. Sharing the Good Life. April 24, 2015. It will be no surprise that most of my time is spent outside these days and little knitting got done. I took it with me on our trip yesterday but the roads, while not rough, were not really smooth enough for lots of through the back loop knitting, so I only got a few rows done. Even with the tediousness (is that a word? Of the knitting, I so love knitting this cardigan. Filed Under: Knitting and Weaving. A Busy Day Trip. Div align=...

Dented Thimble Quilting: March 2010
http://dentedthimblequilting.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 26, 2010. Catching Up (Is Hard to Do). While traveling around blogland, I came upon a treasure trove of basket block patterns at Sandi's Piecemeal Quilts. Just lately basket blocks are especially appealing to me, and it seemed a good use for some nice bright fabrics I found on the remnant table a while back. These finish at 10 inches and there are nine different patterns on Sandi's blog- just the right number for a spring couch throw. Have a great weekend! Links to this post. You can check ...

While I love the satisfaction of finishing a quilt, it isn't the. Way to have fun with quilting. Sunday, October 16, 2011. Sunday Stash Report October 16th 2011. Fabric added this week: 0 yards. Fabric added YTD: 52 3/4 yards. Fabric used this week: 10 yards. Fabric used YTD: 91 1/4 yards. Net used for 2011: 38 1/2 yards. Eleanor Burns book Irish Chain in a Day says it takes 8 3/4 yards to make a double Irish chain top for a double bed, so that's what I'm counting as used to make this pink and white top. Here is another shot from a different section. Congratulations on so many nicely finished quilts!

A Walk Through My Little World: December 2013
http://dementiawoman.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Last Friday we had a big storm roll through. Like the week before doom and gloom was predicted, however that storm swung south leaving St. Louis cold with a smattering of snow flakes. This storm lived up to its predictions with approximately four inches left to shovel. Hmmm that would be fun! Links to this post. Tuesday, December 10, 2013. Have I mentioned that I live on a golf course? And that golfballs are frequently found in my yard? And then he rolled them into the office.

Midwest Quilts: Cutting and more cutting
http://manquilts.blogspot.com/2015/05/cutting-and-more-cutting.html
Friday, May 1, 2015. Cutting and more cutting. I tend to like to have quilt tops ready to sew when I feel like working on them. However, I dislike cutting the least of all aspects of making a quilt. So I have been busy cutting on pieces for quilts. Multiple quilts. I cut all the pieces and make a sample block, and then store them. These are the two that I cut out this morning. Patchwork Thoughts 2008
Sunday, 9 November 2008. Sunday 9 November 2008. We just had another holiday! We went to Normandy for a week with our two grandsons, Brad and Dominic. We hired a gite for a week with its own fishing pond straight outside the patio doors. The boys absolutely loved it. Patchwork Time(s)
Woensdag 6 mei 2015.
