Today, a girl in my government class was wearing a shirt that said "Jesus Never Strikes Out". Isn't that the oddest saying/tagline/ad? Seriously, what exactly. Does she mean by that? Patients is a virtue. A description of my journey from pre-reqs to patients. Saturday, September 30, 2006. I woke up on Thursday morning to find my TiVo had died. I was devasted. I spent what little time I had before class on the phone with the service department and the prognosis was not good. I tried a hard restart and still no dice. I had planned on studying last weekend, but due to a ridiculously long government class (0800-1700), an amazingly embarrassing bar outing, and some very complicated home issues, it completely skipped my mind. Patients is a virtue. A description of my journey from pre-reqs to patients. Tuesday, September 05, 2006. Well, I got the situation with my online nutrition course worked out. The assistant at the science division office seemed upset that my former professor would be getting paid less because I was switching out of her section but I actually didn't care either way, I just wanted the first two weeks of this semester to count. On the other had, I was able to take my first nutrition exam and got a 97.5%!
