Life on Longfellow: Holes to heaven
http://lifeonlongfellow.blogspot.com/2009/10/holes-to-heaven.html
Saturday, October 31, 2009. You know how there are long lists of projects that you need to work on and you just have to squeeze bits of them in when you can? We've had these roof vents sitting in a box in the office since the summer, but just haven't had time to put them in. There are four that need to go in, but it looks like it might rain today so we only got to one. There is really nothing like chopping a hole in your roof when the sky is so overcast. Were very impressed on our side of the hemisphere.

Life on Longfellow: May 2009
http://lifeonlongfellow.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 25, 2009. Happy Memorial Day weekend! We considered going down to the NSO concert at the Capitol, but dealing with a large crowd on a humid day ended up not being terribly appealing. . We went to the Crate and Barrel Outlet on Saturday, which turned out to be a great move. We had been looking for a pot rack for a while - and we found this one on an outrageous sale. 160;Take them down? Our other exciting find of the weekend came from our garden - we have radishes! Life on Longfellow: April 2009
http://lifeonlongfellow.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 4, 2009. I feel like you aren't really a grown up until your bed is no longer just a mattress on the metal frame. I guess that means we've grown up. . Our poor room has been ignored and neglected while we've focused on other rooms, but this goes a long way to making it feel more settled. Plus we finally put in the sconces we got from Adam's parents' house last year. It may not be a Mary Helen quality garden, but at least the experiment is working so far! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Life on Longfellow: Christmas
http://lifeonlongfellow.blogspot.com/2009/12/christmas.html
Wednesday, December 23, 2009. My newest creche - from Tanzania. Our local radio station is doing a series on good deeds, and started it off today with the story of the man in Memphis who went to a local Citgo and paid for the gas of 80 strangers. Christmastime always reminds me that there is some kind soul out there who has remained anonymous for years, but continues to bring tears to my eyes nearly twenty years later. Erick and Libbey Chuy. Thats a beautiful story and memory! January 14, 2010 at 1:45 PM.

Life on Longfellow: January 2009
http://lifeonlongfellow.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 20, 2009. The nice thing about not being able to get downtown today was that we ended up with a four day weekend. Adam was finally feeling well enough to tackle a project, so we hung the photos that have been hanging out on our living room floor for a few weeks now. I think it was Marilyn Lucas's idea originally, and we love how it turned out. You can't really see the photos all that well, but below, from the top left are:. 2 Three photo frame of photos from Allison's wedding in September.

Life on Longfellow: The only thing held hostage in Colombia...

Thursday, October 15, 2009. The only thing held hostage in Colombia. Are the photos in our camera. We can see them in the camera, but can't download them. In lieu of our own photos, at least we can show you where we stayed. Http:/ www.puntafaro.com/en/index.html. The island escape. There is something truly amazing about being totally disconnected from the world. Http:/ www.alfizhotel.com/. Sigh Perhaps a new camera is in our future. That sounds heavenly. *sigh*. Life on Longfellow: December 2008
http://lifeonlongfellow.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 27, 2008. We went to New York to spend Christmas Eve with Adam's family. It was fun to see everyone and Mick and Allison were beaming about their new home (despite digging out a driveway of nearly two feet of snow! We came back to DC that night since we were having four of our Ward's missionaries and another couple over for dinner. All in all, it was a very nice Christmas. We hope everyone else had a nice one too! Saturday, December 20, 2008. Saturday, December 13, 2008. Christmas was ...

Life on Longfellow: September 2008
http://lifeonlongfellow.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2008. I'm jumping on the bandwagon with Linsey. And mainly goofing off for my lunch break. Here is my mosaic:. 1 What is your first name? 2 What is your favorite food? 3 What high school did you go to? 4 What is your favorite color? 5 Who is your celebrity crush? Rob Lowe (ahh, West Wing). Diet Dr. Pepper. Grocery store cake (I know, I know). 9 What you want to be when you grow up? 10 What do you love most in life? Food (it was easier to find photos of this than Adam). Sunday, Sept...
