Friday, August 29, 2014. At the beginning of the month, Adeline and I took a very quick trip down to Naperville, IL to visit my college friend, Deb and her family. Adeline and Deb's 3 girls had a lemonade stand together last summer, and this summer had one again! We hope it is an annual event! Patrick stayed back home side with Charlie and Clara. It was the first time I had left Clara overnight. But I knew she would be in the best care with her daddy. At MSP airport heading to ORD. My bags were light!

Friday, February 28, 2014. January and February Highlights. Winter has been brutal to us! We have had so many COLD COLD days. Minnesota schools cancelled several days of school because of cold temperatures.in all my childhood years as well as in my years as a teacher, I don't remember a day that school was cancelled because of cold temperatures (we did have a few days off for snow)! Monday, September 30, 2013. We found ourselves at Addie's soccer games on most Saturday mornings. She had great coaches, and she learned a lot! We felt it was good for her to play on a team sport, unlike gymnastics or skating which she has been a part of. Charlie watching the airplanes that flew over the soccer field. Grandma and grandpa from Chicago came for a visit. Just a little morning reading on the staircase (maybe he was trying to have some quiet, alone time from his sisters! Almost 10 months old.

Thursday, January 10, 2013. We enjoyed a week with Patrick's family down in Orlando and enjoyed all that Disney World had to offer! It's not really a "vacation" per say where you sleep in and sip coffee and relax all day long. It's quite the opposite. We woke up early, got to the parks when they opened, and it was go go go until the kids were worn out and we did that same routine for several days! Adeline at 4 years old really did love it. She was at the perfect age for it to all seem quite magical!
