New Banner - Happy Hotelier
http://happyhotelier.com/2015/08/06/new-banner
The Happier the Hotelier, The Happier the Guest. The photo “ Surfing in Scheveningen. 8221; gets a lot of views on Flickr. Therefor I’ve used it as my new banner. It was not easy to take the photo as the wind tried to pull the camera from my hands and was blowing so hard it was almost impossible to take a steady shot. Therefor I’ve had to crank up the iso value a lot to be able to have a decent short shutter time to compensate for my moving camera. Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window).

Notice the slightly plump backside. Turned around and passed her again. Sailed in Front of her. Sailed in Front and let her come closer. Watched al the spectators lined up in Front of the Radio Port Rotterdam building in Hook of Holland. The first 3 rows would get wet feet from the wake when she passed. When QM2 enter...

There are a couple of good blogs and sites about cruising and of course one of my interests is the design of such large ships and off course the operation which is basically a lot the same as a hotel operation, albeit in most instances in less space. Travellers on Seabourn ships enjoy perfect luxury ...

Monica Bonvicini - Happy Hotelier
http://happyhotelier.com/2015/07/17/monica-bonvicini
The Happier the Hotelier, The Happier the Guest. At the Venice Biennial Monica Bonvicini. Born in Venice, but living and working in Berlin, had a complete room in the Arsenale with chainsaw installations in concrete with dripping rubber. In Bonvicini’s hands, industrial materials are used to create a humorous critique of male power symbols. It keeps me thinking. Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window).
